Security jobs

0 live vacancies across the UK. Free to search and free to apply.

Licensed work, which means the ticket comes before the job and the licence is checked rather than taken on trust. That cuts both ways: it keeps the trade cleaner than most, and it means an expired badge stops you working the same afternoon it lapses.

The jobs people actually mean

Door supervisors, security officers, CCTV operators, retail and corporate security, and control room staff.

The roles we cover here, each with its own page:

Door supervisor  ·  CCTV operator  ·  Retail security officer  ·  Event steward  ·  Mobile patrol and keyholder  ·  Security officer

What to watch for in this trade

You need a valid SIA licence and it is yours, not the employer's. Check the expiry before you take a long booking, and never work a shift on a licence that has lapsed.

Nobody else writes that second box, and it is the one worth reading. Every trade has a way of quietly costing people money, and the person who tells you before you take the job is more use than the one who tells you afterwards.
