Report an advert
Hate, harassment, obscenity, discrimination, a scam, or an employer asking you for money: tell us and we will act on it. This takes thirty seconds, it goes to a person rather than a queue, and you do not have to leave your name.
No legitimate employer asks you for money to apply, for bank details before an offer, or for your passport before an interview.
You can also report it to somebody who is not us, and you do not need our permission or our agreement. JobsAware is free and is the national service for job scams and unfair working practices. It was set up with the Metropolitan Police and runs with the DWP, the National Crime Agency, City of London Police, National Trading Standards, Crimestoppers and the REC. It sorts out what it can and passes the rest to whichever partner can act, so one report reaches the right door without you having to work out which door that is. We would rather you had a route that does not depend on us believing you.
If you have lost money
Contact your bank straight away, then report it to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 or at actionfraud.police.uk. Tell us too, so we can take the advert down and preserve what we hold.
