Launch rate: half the standard price while we build the board

Founding advertiser pricing for our first six months. Your rate is held for three years from your first advert, while you keep advertising with us.

Not free, and not a race to the bottom: a fair price that a corner shop, a care home and a national contractor can all say yes to. You pay to advertise, never a percentage of somebody's salary. Prices are shown excluding VAT, as they are between businesses, with the VAT inclusive figure underneath so there are no surprises. VAT registered businesses claim it back.

11 days left at these prices. No VAT is added to anything until 01 October 2026. The price you see is the price you pay. From that date VAT at 20 per cent is added on top, because HM Revenue and Customs registered us from then and not because our prices went up. This is not a sale and nothing here is being discounted. It is a date HM Revenue and Customs set, it is the same for every customer, and it will not be extended.

Founding advertisers

100 of 100 places left

The first 100 businesses to advertise with us are founding advertisers. They carry a badge on every advert they place, they hold the launch rate for 3 years from their first advert, and they get the attention a board with a hundred customers can give and a board with a hundred thousand cannot. The badge and the number stay theirs afterwards.

Why the price is where it is

We are new. A board with few adverts is worth less to an employer than one with thousands, so it would be dishonest to charge on day one as though the board were already full. The prices above are the launch rate, and they are roughly half our standard rate.

Advertise during this period and your rate is locked. When the standard prices come in, you keep the price you joined on for 3 years from your first advert, while you keep advertising with us. That is the reward for taking a chance on a new board early, and it is a date you can put in a budget rather than a promise with no end. The exact terms.

No CV database, and no charge to candidates

About the crossed out prices. They are our standard rate: the price these packages return to when the launch period ends, published here so you can see exactly what you are locking in. They are not a pretend "was" figure invented to make a discount look bigger, and we will never do that.

We do not sell access to candidate data, because holding a searchable pile of other people's CVs is the part of this industry that goes wrong. You pay to advertise, applications come straight to you, and the people applying pay nothing and are never sold on. Reading the available now cards and asking about one is free, and it stays free. More on that.

Why these prices

One agency placement for a £30,000 role typically costs £4,500 or more. A month of everything we sell costs less than £200. We would rather a thousand small employers can afford us than a hundred large ones.

How payment works

Choose a package and we raise a VAT invoice against your company with a reference number. Pay by card link, bank transfer, PayPal, Direct Debit, 30 day invoice or cheque. As soon as payment clears (usually within one working hour on weekdays) your advert goes live or your subscription switches on. All six ways to pay.

Need a purchase order, a framework agreement or 30 day terms? Ask us, we set those up for larger employers.

What is always free

Everything for candidates: searching jobs and applying with a CV, for ever. Employers can create an account and write an advert before paying anything, and we will review the wording for free whether you buy or not.

Launch rate lock

If you buy at a published launch or introductory price, that price stays yours for the same package while you keep buying it without a gap of more than six months, for 3 years from your first paid advert. We will always give 30 days written notice before changing a price you are on. A price change never affects an advert you have already paid for, or the current month of a subscription.

Why 3 years and not for ever: a price promised with no end is one somebody breaks later, and we would rather tell you the date now than find a reason in year six. Your 3 years run from the day of your first paid advert, they are yours whatever happens to our prices in between, and we write to you two months before they end so nothing arrives as a surprise. If you are a founding advertiser, the number and the badge are yours for good: that is a record of who backed this board early, and it does not expire with the discount.

And the one thing a rate lock cannot hold. Your locked rate is the price of the advert. VAT is a tax on top of it, not part of it. We are not VAT registered today, so nothing is added today. From 01 October 2026 VAT at 20 per cent is added to the same locked price, and an advert at £25 becomes £30.00. If your business is VAT registered you reclaim that on your own return, so it costs you nothing extra. If it is not, it is a real increase and we would rather you heard it from us now than found it on an invoice. The rate lock protects you from OUR price going up. No business is allowed to waive a tax, and we are not going to promise you one that we would then have to break.

This is not a slogan: it is written into the terms of business and it is enforced by the software. Your locked prices are listed on your dashboard with the date each one holds until, and every price you are shown while signed in is already your price, not the headline one.

Common questions about pricing

The seven that come up while people are looking at this page. Answered the way we would answer them on the phone.

Why is the price so low?

It is a launch rate. We want employers and agencies to try us while we build volume, so a single advert is £25 rather than our standard £49. The price will rise as the site grows, and if you buy at a launch rate we hold that rate for you on the same package for three years from your first advert, while you keep advertising with us without a long gap. We tell you the exact date on your dashboard and we write to you two months before it ends.

Will I get applications?

That depends on the role, the salary and the location, the same as on any job board, and anybody promising you a number without knowing those three is guessing. Applications come straight to you with the CV attached. If an advert underperforms we review it free of charge and tell you honestly how to improve it, including when the pay is the real problem.

Do you sell candidate data?

No. There is no candidate database for sale and no candidate search on this site. You receive the applications candidates chose to send to your own advert, and nothing else.

Can recruitment agencies use this?

Yes, and plenty of our early users are agencies. Advertise your clients' roles under your own name. The same rules apply to everybody: genuine vacancies only, and no fees of any kind charged to candidates.

What if I fill the job early?

Close the advert from your dashboard at any time, and reopen it later if the hire falls through. Once an advert is live it is not refundable, because the advertising has been delivered. We would rather say that here than bury it.

Is there a long contract?

No. A single advert runs for 30 days and that is the end of it. Monthly packages roll on and you can cancel with 30 days' notice from your dashboard. Nothing renews itself for a year, and credits in the five pack stay valid for 12 months.

What if I still have a question?

Email hello@hiringuk.co.uk and a person answers, normally the same working day. The longer answers, including how many candidates we actually have, are on the employer questions page.

Every question employers ask, answered at length, including how many candidates we have, how we get them here, and what happens to the CVs you receive.

Not sure which package fits?

Tell us the roles you are hiring for and we will tell you honestly which package fits, and write the advert for you at no extra cost.
