Before anything else
Everything we need to put you forward for work. You can fill it in online instead, which is quicker.
Everything you might need, on one page, at any hour. No account, no password, and nobody to ring first.
If you are working through us, you will already have been given the ones that matter. This page is so that you never have to ask twice for a piece of paper you are entitled to.
Before anything else
Everything we need to put you forward for work. You can fill it in online instead, which is quicker.
Before you agree to anything
What you will be paid, how often, what comes off it and what you are entitled to. The law says you get this before terms are agreed, not after.
Before your first shift
The agreement between you and us. Read it once, keep it.
Every week
Your hours, signed by the client. No signed timesheet, no pay, so this is the most important piece of paper you will handle.
Whenever you want time off
How your holiday builds up, what it is worth and how to book it. Holiday you do not take is money you do not get.
The first seven days you are off sick
You do not need a doctor for the first week. You do need this.
If you drive for anybody else as well
Your hours across every job are added together, so we have to know about the other one. This is how you tell us.
Drivers, when something goes wrong
What happens after a tachograph infringement, written down in advance so it is not decided about you afterwards.
Any time
Everything else in one place: breaks, PPE, pay dates, who to ring, and what we are not allowed to ask you for.
We could put a copy of these on the site. We have not, and the reason is in each one.
Before your first payday, if you have no P45
It decides your tax code. Without it you are taxed on an emergency code and you get the difference back later, which helps nobody this month.
Where: gov.uk/guidance/starter-checklist-for-paye
This is HMRC's own form. We do not keep a copy, because a copy goes out of date and theirs never does.
When you stop working with us
It goes to the address we hold, so tell us if you move.
There is no form for this. A P45 is issued automatically when your last payment is made, and if it has not arrived within two weeks of your final payslip, ring us and we will chase it. Nobody should have to ask twice for a document the law says they get.
Something missing, or a form that does not make sense? Tell us and we will fix the page rather than explain it to you on the telephone. If one person could not find it, the next forty will not either.
