What to watch for in this trade
Who is paying you, and how. Self employed and CIS are not the same as being an employee, and the label on the contract does not decide your status: the reality does. If you are told when to turn up, what to wear and cannot send somebody in your place, ask questions.
Nobody else writes that second box, and it is the one worth reading. Every trade has a way of quietly costing people money, and the person who tells you before you take the job is more use than the one who tells you afterwards.
