Temporary jobs
Temporary, seasonal and fixed term work, including agency assignments. Every advert shows the pay and applying is free.
None of these are live today. We are a new board and adverts arrive every week. Set an alert and we email you the day one goes up, or see every job.
Your rights in temporary work
- Agency workers: the 12 week rule. Under the Agency Workers Regulations 2010, after 12 weeks in the same job with the same hirer you are entitled to the same basic pay and conditions as if you had been hired directly.
- From day one. Agency workers can use the hirer's shared facilities (canteen, toilets, parking) and must be told about its job vacancies.
- No fee to find you work. An employment agency may not charge you for finding you work. See paying to find work.
- Fixed term contracts. A fixed term employee must not be treated less favourably than a comparable permanent employee, and after four years of back to back contracts they can usually become permanent.
