Warehouse and forklift

You have tickets and shift experience, and your CV is being read in thirty seconds alongside forty others.

In this trade the tickets and their expiry dates are the whole first screen. An agency is checking whether you can start on Monday. Make that answerable without a phone call.

Select it, copy it, and rewrite it as yours. It is laid out plainly on purpose: a plain CV survives being opened on somebody else's computer, and a clever one does not.

What you must change

  • Every ticket and every expiry. AN OUT OF DATE TICKET ON A CV is worse than no ticket, because it looks like you have not checked.
  • The pick accuracy figure. Only if you know it. A made up number is the one thing they can check.
  • The language line. It is optional. Some people find it saves a conversation, others would rather not put it. Either is fine and neither is required.

Then do these two things

Run it through the free CV check. It looks for the things above and tells you what it found. No account, nothing to pay, and we do not keep the file.

Or start from the builder if you would rather answer questions than face a blank page. It produces the same shape as the example above.

The other examples

Class 1 driver, experienced

You hold C+E, you have been driving a few years, and your problem is that your CV reads like a list of companies.

Class 1 or Class 2, newly qualified

You have just passed and every advert wants two years' experience. This is the hardest CV to write and almost nobody writes about it.

Know somebody who needs this? Sending it costs nothing and it is how a small board grows.

These are ordinary links. No like button, no follow widget and no tracking pixel, because those load somebody else's script and start watching you before you press anything. Nothing leaves this page unless you choose to send it.
