Our numbers
Two figures that matter more than any other on a job board: how long an employer waits for the first application, and how many people were offered a job. We publish both, worked out automatically from the board itself, on good weeks and bad ones.
How long until the first application
Not enough adverts yet to give a fair figure
We publish this once at least 10 adverts placed in the last 90 days are a week old. Today there are 0. Below that, one lucky or unlucky advert would decide the number, and that would not be honest either.
People offered a job through HIRING UK
0
Since the board opened. Counted when the employer marks an application "Offered". Some employers never mark it, so the real number can only be higher, never lower.
Why we publish this
Because these are the two questions everybody really asks a job board: will my advert work, and will I get a job. Most places answer them with adjectives. We would rather answer with numbers, including when the numbers are small. HIRING UK is a young board, and you can watch it grow here, week by week.
Updated automatically, figures as of 18 October 2026. Sample adverts are never counted. How every figure on this site is worked out: how we count.
